What's happening?

What’s going on in the world today?
Now days it seems everyone is going crazy! I was reading the paper today, one woman found dead and, intoxicated. How can they find alcohol in a dead body, I didn’t think that was possible. Then of course there’s the Boardman’s case. Looks’ like her boyfriend might take most of the blame now. Apparently the witness is pretty much putting it on him, it seems. The witness is saying he too was intoxicated that night but as he recalls the boyfriend of Boardman was allegedly saying to keep going. Then there is this 20 year old gal who must of thought it to be a prank (which honestly I thought it was funny also until I read on) to put her ex-boyfriend’s pictures on “Craigslist” with an ad saying for men to call him at work to talk dirty to him. Well now she could be facing up to three years in prison! Wow! I guess he’ll have the last laugh huh? I thought that was insane! People are doing worse crimes than that and are getting less time! Then we have this fifty year old guy going back to prison for his ninth DWI!! Geeeeshhh! How many more times do you think he’ll go back to prison when he gets out in three years? If it hasn’t stopped him yet, more than likely it won’t stop until he either kills some innocent victim with a car, then maybe they will put him away for ten years or so or he’ll just kill him with liver cirrhosis. Not to mention does he like it there? Why does he keep going back? Or does he just feel like no one should be telling him whether or not to drink at his age. Obviously he doesn’t get the picture that maybe he should choose to walk, or cab it rather than driving. Then we have this thirty-five year old guy who took the children all weekend long so (I guess the parents have peace and quiet) who now is convicted of molesting their children. Well hello, why would you let a thirty-five year old man play with your kids anyways! Teenagers should baby-sit. Not to say a fifteen couldn’t do stuff like that either, but I would think that you would know the babysitter a little better, perhaps you would know her parents and you would then know whether the parents are stable or not. Well off goes another criminal to prison for thirty years. Speaking of fifteen year olds we now have this story in there about the fifteen year old who basically-robbed-this seventeen year old; however, it never did state whether the fifteen year old got any money or not. But anyways the fifteen year old kid shot the seventeen year old in the left heel of his foot. So does a fifteen year old know right from wrong? Well I believe a ten year old does! But this kid will go the juvenile and get out when he’s 18 and do you think he’ll change? Probably become even angrier and feeling tougher yet because now he can brag how he “served time” and bully more kids around. Where does all this erratic behavior come from, my opinion I think it starts with the law forbidding parents to discipline their children appropriately. I mean what can a parent do when their fifteen year old is mouthing off to them? Well if I mouthed off to my dad he back-hand me right on the lip! Of course it stung, but I surely thought twice about doing it ever again. If I didn’t come home in time for dinner, then I lost my going out privileges for a week. Depending on how mad I made him you couldn’t watch television or have any phone calls from friends either. Well my brother’s were boys and they certainly learned from the first try of doing the”mouth off, tough guy stunts” that to get respect you earn it!!! We were certainly taught that food and drinks and sleep are necessities and the rest are privileges, and to earn those privileges you have to earn them.
