HMMMM……What to blog about?
Well let’s see the other night I was watching TV and the show was called the “MOST OUTRAGEOUS CLIPS” or something to that matter, anyways it was showing 20 year olds who were having a party and they were literally seeing who would crack the beer bottle on their head? So one guy would stand in line and put his head out for the other guy to try to bust the beer bottle over his head. CRACK! Nothing happened, one more try… CRACK; again nothing happened except that they would say OUCH that hurts! The one guy was making them swear only to hit the back of his head and not his face. Then the next guy would put his head out—Crack, nothing happened, crack, crack, and crack finally the guy gives up. Well after about five guys trying this; finally the beer bottle broke on the sixth guy’s head! Then the blood starting oozing but of course, he was the winner! I was cringing the entire time trying to watch this. I could not believe this was their idea of fun!!
Then there was another clip where these guys wanted to see how high they could get a bon fire, except it wasn’t in a fire pit or in someone’s back yard, it was out in the middle of a parking lot! Well they would wonder off to dumpster and find whatever they possibly could, one guy found an old chair. The flames now were nine feet high, and then they were running out of ammo so to my surprise they literally rolled a person’s car right on top of the flames. Well certainly that got the flames up high enough to where people actually thought a building was on fire, and had called the fire department and when they came they then put the car out!
What are these people thinking? I remember when I was young like that I thought us sitting around playing drinking games was bad enough. Or when we would be out and being loud. I think we had much more fun playing dice games in a bar or as I mentioned drinking shot games. But to crack a beer bottle over my head or to see how high we can get a fire going?!!
Then there were other scenes. One where these kids came in to rob a bar, one of the kids was only 12 years old!! I think kids now days know that they can get away with everything they want to do now days. Parents aren’t allowed to spank them because they will go to prison, and other adults aren’t allowed to knock the punk out for bad mouthing or trying to steal his or her stuff, because they will go to prison. This one kid on this other show I was watching was a trouble maker kid and the talk show hosts asked him why he was the way he was, and his comment literally was, because I know they won’t send me to prison and that I can get away with it! How sad it that!! What happened to all the respect one was taught 30 or more years ago? It didn’t matter if it was your own parent or just another adult scolding you for whatever you were caught doing, you stopped it immediately, and apologized, or ran off in a hurry. Wouldn’t it be nice to go back to the older days when men were gentlemen and wore suits and women were ladies who wore the fancy clothing with hats, and gloves and all the other accessories? I’m not too keen on the dress code as much, but the respect thing would be nice to see come back again!!
